Bamboo Forest
Nilobi walks through a forest of very tall bamboo in Kyoto.
Did you know?
Some bamboo can grow as much as 1 meter in a single day.
Ask your child
How tall are you? Is a bamboo plant faster at growing than you?
Try it together
Measure 1 meter with a ruler or string. That is how much some bamboo can grow in one day!
